Price elements are ROOM RATES, ADDITIONAL BEDS, DISCOUNTS, EXTRAS

For each combination of price element and age range TW creates a line in the reservation breakdown.

So if you have a double room (base=2pax) with 3 adults and 1 child you will have

  1. Double room (Adults) ----> price for 3 adults in double room
  2. Double room (child) ----> price for 1 child in double room
  3. Double room 1st add. bed (child) ----> discount/supplement for 1 child in additional bed
  4. Double room 2nd add. bed (Adult) ----> discount/supplement for 1 adult in additional bed

or if you have 1 adult and 2 children in the same double room:

  1. Double room (Adults) ----> price for 1 adult in double room
  2. Double room (child) ----> price for 2 children in double room
  3. Double room 1st add. bed (child) ----> discount/supplement for 1 child in additional bed

The resulting list may look shorter as TW remove automatically the zero-priced room rates.

"1st additional bed" means 1 bed in addition to the standard occupancy defined in the Rooms tab.

Based on general usage patterns here are few extra notes:

  • children discounts should be negative (-10, -28) unless they are extra charges
  • if you wish children to benefit of the discount only when they stay with 2 adults, move children discounts from the room row to the 1st add.bed and 2nd add.bed rows and then replace them with 0 in the room row:
    Room XYZ 98 0 0
    1st add bed 0 -10 -28
    2nd add bed 0 -10 -28
