TouristWay Hosted version is automatically updated once we have new features, improvements or fixes.

Download version receive 3 type of updates:

1. recurring updates: contains bug fixings and procedure updates, are not supposed to create downtime and are delivered automatically. These minor changes are delivered without notice by an automated provisioning system. Our maintainance account has to remain up and running with the same credentials. In case of any failure you will miss these recurring patches.
2. upgrades: major feature enhancements. Manually executed, usually planned with the system administrator, purchase of additional module licences might be required.
3. although deployed releases are tested sometime we just break something, this is when we do emergency updates: the system shows serious malfunctioning and requires to be patched manually, the activity is usually planned with the system administrator.
